Teachers Principals Parents! Before you head out on March Break, book these workshops for your school!

We're gearing up to head back into NS schools with a forum theatre workshop called standing by. Training some new actors in the work to add to our already fantastic team! This project works to address bullying with kids in grades 4 through 6. the workshop is interactive, done one class at a time. Through the workshop, students have the chance to try their own strategies for change in scenarios that they create from their own experiences. Looking at things through the lens of a particular issue or problem can give a great focus. The work is a lot about communicating, accepting others, drawing on the knowledge of the students in the room, and a myriad of other things. We sometimes say that it's a workshop about "How To Be A Person".

This woman.. Natasha MacLellan. She is doing amazing work in Parrsboro.Directed both shows in her main summer season, programmed a hellova concert series, and a shoulder season now that included us this week doing Improv Shows ( last one tonight at 8pm!), a Johnny Cash Tribute concert, and another offering for young audiences from Halifax Theatre for Young People, Two In The Coop. She is a dear friend, a valued collaborator and is incredible at juggling all that she does. Thank you Tasha!! xo
