Basement apartment build update: barn door on the bathroom! This little unit is getting more attractive by the day.

This was a fun renovation for our great client Frontenac Property Management! Our levels bathroom threw some challenges at us but with DLJ Plumbing by our side we have this bathroom and unit ready for the tenants to move in. Jordan O'Keefe Shane Ferguson

The boys turned this home into 2 comfortable units for these cohabitating couples with the installation of a wall and French door. First, they had to turn a 30 inch closet into a 24 inch closet to allow for the new wall. Then the construction began and the new French door was hung. We hope this brings you all a bit more privacy while still letting light in! Nice work, Tim, Jordan O'Keefe and Tommy!

Helping our client get their apartment unit ready to rent out! Out with the old broken tile and in with a durable, waterproof SPC flooring. On top of the flooring we painted, fixed some broken doors and closets and took two dump truck loads to the dump.

Sod install at our clients home!

A little back deck rescue this afternoon on one of our great clients backyard. We jacked up the one corner of the deck to make it level and replaced most of the staircase. Now to slap on some paint. Jordan O'Keefe

Today was an exciting day for us a company! We entered the office of Barbara J. Hulme Professional Corporation (Fantastic lawyers office) as "Rideau Estate Services" and left incorporated as "Iron Hub Property Services, Ltd. As much as we loved the Rideau name, there were a number of other property maintenance companies in Ontario sharing the same great title. Iron Hub Property Services, Ltd. - this name is a nod to my Great Great Grandfather, Edward Andrews Archibald who wa...s born in Truro, N. S. In 1838. When he was just fourteen he went to Boston with $4 in his pocket. He began to learn the wheelwrights trade and in three years’ time went to Methuen, Mass., and started in the carriage business, eventually forming The Archibald Wheel Company. Known for their iron hubs; these high strength wheels could be found on wagons, canons and more famously; the gun caisson that carries the casket of deceased American Presidents. Our client wanted to pull up the linoleum flooring and update their beautiful old bathroom. They weren’t happy how the last company left their vanity 3 inches off the wall so we re plumbed it and slapped down some beautiful flooring. Next we install a fan.
