I never rant, but today I am. I am an insurance planner, and I send out annual emails to clients to check in. Mainly to see how they are and if they've had any changes in their life.I very rarely get a response, and I usually have to send several emails out, and after a while, I just stop sending them. Well this week, I had a client who's critical illness insurance is renewing in April and the premiums are going up. Low and behold I get an email from them. I respond with tons... of information, and they are grateful for my quick response. They then share that they had cancer 2 years ago and wonder if the policy would pay out? It was a lower stage of cancer, but there is probability that a portion or all of the policy will pay out. As an insurance specialist, I am not trying to sell when I want to review your information. It is required by my governing body to do this. If this person would have responded to my emails years ago, we could have managed this then.
