There has been a rumour going around that we are closing our doors for good. We want to assure you that this is not true. COVID has been hard on all businesses particularly for product supply lines, and staffing requirements...ours included. But we will prevail and we are NOT giving up! We will be offering cut side pickups for anything you may need. As most of you have now heard, the Alberta government has imposed new restrictions that will affect us ONLY for the play field! As of Saturday night at midnight the field will be closed down until at least mid January. So this Friday (December 11th), and Saturday (December 12th) we will be keeping the field open until MIDNIGHT each day!! Come on in and shoot your friends for the last chance of 2020!! The store front will remain open from noon until 8:00pm Wednesday to Sunday at a 15% capacity as per Alberta regulations. Clear your calendar and prep for some Wicked Zombie Brilliance October 24th and 25th. Ironsights Airsoft and Doc Firebeard are excited to announce ZOMBIES AND SHOTGUNS 6 - PANDEMIC! The event will roll through the weekend, so you have a choice of either (or BOTH) days! Registration is at 5pm with the briefing starting shortly after at 5:30pm. Tickets cost $60 for the night (4 hours) and includes your ammo for the evening!! Limited space available for each day so don't be late... and as always, please feel free to dress up in true Halloween style (Zombie themed or otherwise!) Hello everyone. Shotguns and Zombies 6 is looking to be the best one we have put on to date!! Thanks to Doc Firebeard and the team here, the game mechanics involved are going to be stellar! As the event gets closer it has become apparent that we will need more time slots for this game. We will be taking registration for the time slots now to hopefully keep it more organized. We have a limit of 50 people per time slot and the times will be as follows: Game Slot 1: Saturday Oc...t 24 Briefing is at 12:30pm and game starts at 1:00pm ending at 5:00pm. Game Slot 2: Saturday Oct 24 Briefing is at 5:30pm and game starts at 6:00pm ending at 10:00pm. Game Slot 3: Sunday Oct 25 Briefing is at 5:30pm and game starts at 6:00pm ending at 10:00pm. If you wish to get in on a specific time slot please call, message, or come in and sign up. No need to purchase tickets in advance, just sign up. If there are no shows, then we will fill the spots on a first come first serve basis so please arrive and sign in for your time slot an hour before game start. Also, in the interest of keeping things simple and flowing we will be providing ammo for the game so you will only need one magazine and one gun. You will be given a limited amount of ammo so you will need to conserve ammo and work as a team. If you have melee weapons (ie: foam swords etc) you can use them upon referee approval. DIRECTIONS to Operations Guns For Hire Airsoft Event in Grovedale THIS WEEKEND!! Tickets are still available and can be purchased in store tonight or at the event (purchases made at the event will be CASH ONLY) ... As Google Maps will lead you astray, please follow the directions posted in the pictures and as follows: Take HWY 40 south and turn right at township road 690 and then take the last right before the stop sign. If you hit the stop sign you have gone too far. Driveway is on the left with the wrought iron gate. Signs will be up to direct you as you get close. See you there!!!
