Whenever I make this celery juice drink, I associate it with the Incredible Hulk!! Like I’m going to drink it and turn green and have these magic powers lol! But this marvellous green juice- has so many benefits! Some people can’t bring themselves to drink this awesome potion, but it’s not all that bad. ... Here are some benefits on what the affects of celery juice does for your body; 1) Celery Juice heals and activates the gut by restoring hydrochloric acid which helps us digest things faster and more efficiently. Celery juice helps raise stomach acid, which is necessary to help break down food, especially protein. Especially good for those on a high protein diet. If our stomach acid is low, the body has to use more resources to digest that food, often leaving us feeling tired and lethargic. It has the ability to significantly replenish depleted levels of gastric mucus that is needed in the stomach lining to heal and prevent ulcers and acid reflux. 2: Helps lower cholesterol. 3; Celery Juice is a natural anti-inflammatory. It contains Polyacetylene which reduces chronic joint pain, gout, and rheumatoid arthritis. Not only does it soothe the body, but it is also believed to soothe the nerves, with calming and relaxing properties. 4; Lowers blood pressure. Are your mornings chaotic? How you start your day sets you on a path for how your day will proceed. Exercise first thing in the morning increases oxygen within your body, giving you more energy. It gets the fluids in your body moving creating more flow of beneficial nutrients and metabolic waste, making you feel and move more efficiently. Exercising first thing will also allow you to hydrate your body by giving you a space and time in your morning for a lot of wat...er consumption. The way you start your nutrition in the morning will affect your mood, energy, appetite and cravings. I always recommend a high protein, high (good) fat breakfast. This ensures that you don't spike your insulin levels, stabilizes your blood sugar and also allows your natural growth hormone to rise in the morning as it's suppose to. High carb, high sugar foods like: breads, bagels, cereals, muffins, donuts, or even your double double/high sugary drink will set you up for a roller coaster of cravings, energy crashes and mood swings.
