We are still shut down, no classes. But we are looking at September for restarting.
So with the current situation we are pretty much shut down. No classes etc until further notice. Please stay smart and stay safe. We will see everyone on the other side!
New forge! This will make working steel masks, helmets, knees, faceplates etc so much easier...
What did I do on my May long weekend?..... made tools!
Slow day due to required interruptions, follow-up X-ray on hip, etc... but still got some much needed tools made.
Even though the forge part of the studio is shut down for maintenance we were not idle, had this little gem sitting in my brain for a bit... hands cooperated and we got it done.
Shut down the forge for the week in order to to perform some long overdo and needed maintenance. Liner rebuild, burner nozzle replace, new door, new lights.

Five piece billet W2 and 1060 forge welded and ready for next stage. This was the product of yesterday’s live feed.
More live from Thingmaker...
Hrmm... may not be able to go live in the forge today, arthritis flare... let’s see if the meds help.
