With the end of our program fast approaching, we are completing some final testing!

A money math game called "20 questions". There is 50 cents in the piggy. What coins were used? You can only ask yes or no questions and listening is key!

We reviewed the purpose of specific text features when reading nonfiction! Tomorrow we will locate these features in our own books.

We looked specifically at Endangered Species and how their numbers have been changing. We noted that the animals who have an increasing population are animals who have specific laws against hunting them. We learned that poachers are people who hunt and kill animals without having a license or legitimate use for the animal. We think that more laws should be put into place to help increase these numbers. A great math discussion stemmed from this text!

Voting took over place first thing this morning (as we forget to do it yesterday and we're promptly reminded) and Reptiles won once again. Before home time, we voted again between Reptiles and our book today, Extinct and Endangered. Can you guess which one won?
