Here’s Hayes with both his projects! A lamb, and a calf! Well done Hayes! Hayes has made me giggle all year, and been enthusiastic about any thing I bring for the Cleavers to do! He’s always willing to help with anything I need. Hayes leaves us this year as well to become a Member upstairs! Miss Lee might be a little lonely in the basement next year!... Well done Hayes! I’m so proud of all your work.
Here’s Ella with Ernie! This was Ella’s first year as an official Cleaver! We like to bend the rules a little in Irvine though, so Ella was an unofficial Cleaver Kit last year! Luckily Ella will still be a Cleaver next year, since our year was cut short this year! Well done Ella- It even looks like Ernie is smiling a little!
WOW! Great response from all you lovely parents, and lots of little Cleavers signed up already! If you know me at all you know this makes my so happy! So here’s some answers to all sorts of questions: Start Date: October 5th, 2020. 6:30pm, downstairs at the Irvine Complex. Cost: $30/child... Meetings: The first Monday of the month, this is definitely not set in stone(especially this year) There are also a few extra events throughout the year that we do. They are not mandatory though, and don’t count towards anything- do don’t worry! Registration: You can register & pay that night. I will try get the registration forms out to everyone who needs one. COVID-19: As of right now we are cleared for 4H gatherings. There is a COVID form that you will to fill out along with your registration. WHAT WE DO: Well- it depends on the month really! I always try to have a craft, or something for the kids to build. We work on our Cleaver booklets. The kids do some speeches when it comes to communication month. They are also encouraged to show a calf or lamb at the year end Show and Sale(not judged, just for experience). Sing Songs, Play Games, Laugh, and Have way more fun than the Big Kids upstairs!
Good News! Cleavers will start up October 5th! Please let me know if you’ll be there, or if you know someone else who might be. We are open to kids ages 6-8! I can’t wait to see all your lovely faces

Here’s Aiden with his Sheep Bert. Aiden is definitely one of the quietest Cleavers I’ve ever had! Doesn’t say much but always leaves me with a Thank You, and a shy grin. Aiden moves on to be a member next year as well! Great Job Aiden
