Wonderful artwork of all the students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Each class happily coloured Prophet Mohammad’s name (SAW). The end product is so beautiful that this won’t be the only collaborative art project these students will work on, their artwork will adorn the inside hall, and it most definitely won’t be the last!

As you all know, we’ve had to make several changes regarding school events, initiatives and clubs this year due to health and safety protocols. These changes have also impacted the way student council will be operating this year. With the restrictions of student gatherings and mixing of cohorts, student council campaigns and nominations will run virtually. To ensure an efficient and effective selection process, voting will take place online through a nomination form. Cand...idates were given a week to sign up for student council positions and were asked to prepare speeches at home. We encourage all students to view the speeches before submitting their vote. We recognize candidates may have siblings or other ties in the school however, to avoid nominations based on popularity, we advise all students to vote fairly. For the younger students who have been given the chance to vote this year will require guidance from parents. Parents should not influence the decisions of the student’s choices but rather focus on the quality and content of speeches. Voting will officially go live tonight at 6:00 PM on ClassDojo!

Wellness Room is a room which serves as a safe and entertaining haven for students who feel a little under the weatherto wait in. Staff at ISH wanted to make this room extra special by adding colourful and cheerful designs which make this room inviting, du’a for healing and subscription to Disney Plus channel is our way of saying we care.

The Islamic School of Hamilton is very excited to open its doors tomorrow Monday, September 14, 2020 and welcome its students back to school for the year 2020-2021. Here's a sneak peak at our new health and safety procedures at school.
