Hello, we hope that everyone is doing well and getting a chance to go for a ride! Here are some updates for the park: Park is open, however there is significant flooding in the equestrian park, so please ride with caution and beware of submerged ditches! The arenas are both good to ride in. Mosquitos are also out and about, so don’t forget your fly spray! ... It seems that the equestrian parking lot has also had some people doing donuts in it, and making ruts. If anyone sees someone doing this could you please let us know, or send an email to FVRD with a license plate if possible. For up to date information of the rest of island 22 (bike park, dog park etc) please check FVRDs website.

Hello, we wanted to give you an update on the status at Island 22. Currently the dog park and the bike park are both closed indefinitely. All of the bathrooms at the park are also closed to reduce the risk of spreading covid-19. As of tomorrow April 10th the entire regional park will be closed for sure for the weekend, and we will keep you updated on the status after the weekend as well. ... Since the closing of all provincial parks and the sunny weather, this weekend was a high risk of having too many people going to the park and risking exposure. We hope that everyone has a lovely Easter weekend and stays safe

Merry Christmas! We hope that everyone and their four legged friends had a wonderful holiday. The park has been booked on Dec 28 (tomorrow) for an all day event, so the park will be closed Happy Holidays!

Island 22 Pub Night is coming up on November 23rd at Dukes Pub in Greendale! Get your tickets from a society member or send us a message on Facebook and we will set you up with a ticket. Tickets are $15 for a roast beef dinner which starts at 6:30pm. It’s always a blast and we look forward to seeing everybody there!
