Island Tops and Doors

Completed a small landing with stairs and handrail today just south of Nanaimo. Siding company will complete siding tomorrow . Materials consist of a mix of Douglas Fir, Cedar and spruce. If you haven't been yet, please check out my web page at islandtopsanddoors.ca

This is what you can find when you cut into a scrap block of Douglas Fir with a bandsaw...

Made a small dog kennel for display in my neighbouring business which is a doggy daycare These dog kennels can be for small dogs or large dogs or any dogs in between or even cats Just a little nicer looking than those plastic ones from the pet stores

Double barn doors in the showroom are almost done.... next is some baseboard and flooring. The Barn Doors are made from Douglas fir as well as the header, casing, and door jamb. The rail is maple and the rollers are made from 2" thick Cherry wood. Don't forget to check out islandtopsanddoors.ca if you haven't already!
