It's not all about the exterior envelope. Compartmentalization is important too! This Passive House was built with an impressive 0.30ACH50 exterior envelope. Unfortunately air leakage was not controlled between the suite and main dwelling. This allowed cooking odors to transfer to the main dwelling.
