1864 Week June 12th- 15th. Charlottetown’s 1864 Anniversary Celebrations is a six-day festival marking the 150th anniversary of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference of the Fathers of Confederation and the importance it played in the building of Canada. Events are free and include several signature concerts in Victoria Park, fireworks, a skateboarding competition, a dance, a pancake breakfast, a special Cultural market, the unveiling of commemorative monuments and much more. The week of activities will be rich with multicultural diversity, showcase vibrant artistic talents, and celebrate the culture and heritage of the City and Canada as a whole.
