This Coming Sunday Dec 20th We will have our Christmas Service this Sunday on facebook live. All the previous weeks are also here. This Sunday Rhonda is leading some carols, Phil and Marie will be singing a special number and I will share a brief devotional message. Unfortunately no choir!! However, we will rejoice together in the hope we all have because of Christ.

Special Message from our Pastor Hello to the church family, I truly trust and hope you are doing well today and continuing to trust the Lord for your physical, emotional and spiritual health. These are difficult days and we understand the effects this is having for some of the folk. Here are some key thoughts from yesterday’s news conference from Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix. They have given some updated Government guidelines that include us. As of Nove...mber 19th, indoor worship events and social gatherings of any size will no longer be allowed throughout British Columbia. These Public Health Orders are in effect until December 7, 2020. What does this mean for us here at IGC? Here is our plan: There will be no service here at the church until further notice. We will now pivot back to online worship services (facebook live) for the next three weeks and perhaps even longer. We are going to upgrade our camera and equipment and website further. We can still have a maximum of 10 people in the building for recording and streaming facebook live. However, with the projection (powerpoint and ipad tech), pastor, musicians and singers we could easily be at the 10 person maximum. Rhonda and I will be working this out with the worship team to see who wishes to be part of the music team at this time. Each Sunday I will be sending out an outline of the service and message for you to follow as you listen on facebook. I will also send out a newsletter. For those not on email, as before, we will drive (or send) the copies to your mailbox. We will not be having our midweek study at the church on the book of Revelation. We have been well above the 10 person maximum attendance. We do know that during this season many people are desperately looking for connection and seeking answers for their lives which seem so very disrupted this year. As said many times before, if you desire, you can call me at the church (especially in the mornings) for prayer. Or you can call Rhonda as well at home. We’ll get through this together and we’ll come out well. The good news is there seems to be a vaccine on the way. The really GOOD NEWS is God is still there! He will never leave us nor forsake us! He is utterly faithful and we can draw near to Him anytime! Be blessed this fine Friday and I’ll send out more as we think this through more. Pastor Ken

Dear Members: A reminder that our service will be shorter this coming Sunday Nov 1st to allow for a very short AGM (was scheduled for March 1 - the first day of CoVid restrictions). All the AGM packets were handed out last Sunday, with some more emailed or hand delivered. So if you've had any questions - time to phone Pastor Ken at the church office. Because this was actually the budget for 2020 and is 10/12th completed, it will constitute a very short AGM. However, we as always need a quorum to meet the society's acts. Thanking in advance!
