GROUP BENEFIT USERS BEWARE: there is a new broker in town calling business telling them they can cancel their dental benefits to save money right now. It is not that simple, very short sighted and has unintended consequences. If your business is still operating and does not need the savings do not do it. Dentists are open for emergencies... Cavities will still need to be filled and check ups are just rescheduled, so people will still use the same amount of benefits in a renewal term. When renewals are done it’s a balance of Premiums paid and benefits used ( more complicated but the most basic principle) . You will end up with essentially the same amount of dental benefits used but less premium paid which will result in a higher monthly premium at renewal. Please share to help other business'
