Owner "well thats probably enough for today"... haha before we even went in to the market. i love these guys so much, Molly, Molly. haha she was a tricky dog. ...my reply... "no way!, we are going in!" check out Mollys first walk threw the Duncan Market!! I am super impressed with the work this family has done to help Molly get over her fears. we still used a muzzle, just in case. and you can see her head shake with the use of vibrate on the ecollar... her sensitivity was up, usually you wouldnt see any sign of vibrate communication.

humbles owner posted this today, super happy hes doing well. Sappy post alert! I’ve been through quite the ordeal with Humble these past four years. He showed ...aggressive behaviour from the beginning. It got so bad it was absolutelydebilitating. It still is in many ways, but we are MILES ahead of where we were. I couldn’t walk him near people or dogs, he would lunge, growl and snap, trying to get his teeth in. We couldn’t walk off leash anywhere with the potential of running into people. I still am constantly checking in front of me and behind me every time we go anywhere. We’ve seen four trainers, two of which he bit. One told me to put him down because he was wired wrong. I almost did. I remember just bawling on the floor at work because I didn’t know how on earth I would ever make that decision. To kill my best friend to live a normal life, or live a completely altered life to live with my best friend. Thankfully the latter happened. Thankfully Shanna MacDonald happened, too. She was my last resort. A loving person who understands aggressive dogs. She took Humble, worked with him by exposing him to people and dogs, and trained him with an e-collar which has given us a new lease on life (literally)! It’s been three years since we’ve had a bite incident. I can walk him in public, but I don’t let anyone near enough, and I always have his collar on. He doesn’t lunge. He doesn’t go absolutely berserk when people walk by anymore. He still goes a bit crazy when people come over, but we’ll get there. He’s limited my life but also given me freedom to go anywhere in the woods, which I’ll be eternally grateful for. I feel safe in my new home, and he’s been the best Covid companion. He taught me what loyalty is. Even if it hurts. Even if it’s incredibly hard. Humble is aggressive and scared because he’s protective of me. He’d do anything for me, and I’d like to think I’m close to the same for him. It’s all worth it and I wouldn’t change a thing. So here’s to National Dog Day. They’re more than just company. They’re more than just family. They teach your heart to reach further
