New Music Friday: Hold Fast https://www.awakeneers.com/app?song=hold-fast What a week! Actually, all of 2020 has been intense and it doesn't look like it'll b...e letting up any time soon. Anywhere we look can be overwhelming: The precarious state of the Earth's living biosphere, the speed of technological and cultural change, the impacts on humanity or even just our individual challenges. In light of everything going on at the moment, we decided to work on releasing the song Hold Fast. Sometimes it can be helpful or even necessary to take a "time out please do not disturb" moment, and hang out in the place deep inside oneself where optimism and faith reside. Rose wrote Hold Fast way back in 2011, but until this spring we hadn't performed it much or released any recordings of it. Today we're delighted to share with you a brand new studio recording that we just finished.
