Hello clients and the Comox Valley I decided early yesterday that I will not be administrating face-to-face sessions at this time and have advised as many of my clients as possible. I drafted a letter to advise of the options I will be providing to existing and new clients for you safety, mine, my colleagues and to be proactive in my community. We need to stay healthy, think outside the box on how we can do that, be calm and breathe, and know that Island of Hope Counselling will stay open in a web-based way, offering the same counselling services via distance. #IslandofHope#WeCareAlot#Proactive#Be Calm Danielle Lambrecht, Business Owner

Going within is like a mini silent retreat. It requires a desire to be silent, reflect and connect. The only response it requires is an energetic desire to pull inward, to greet peace and to smile at your soul. Connecting is a meaningful short or long journey to travel with your inner essence and embracing every moment you decide to be. Leaving any time and returning whenever you hear the call.

Why? This community resource is needed more than ever. Our community needs to speak up about loosing this service. It is a prevention service and is proactive for those in need of this service.

Stay quiet inside. Listen. Do you here your higher self speaking to you and guiding ever so gently. Listen. Your answers lie within. Distractions on the outside. Muffles the wise voice. Take time to be silent today. Listen.

The Hedican family advocates for a proper description between OD and poisoning. Our kids who use drugs do not plan on loosing their lives from poisoning. I work with many young adults who use drugs to get high but they don’t want to die! Many can’t just stop using which shows how cunning and complex addiction is. They don’t know if this time is the last time!

From today to December 6th you can support Everybody Deserves A Smile by dropping off NEW socks, scarves, gloves and toques to our ReStore. We are so proud to support this worthy project.

Thank you to the Times Colonist and The Province Newspaper for reporting on this new language used by the BC Coroner's Service. We are grateful for their acknowledgement of this crisis that is ignored by politicians - while people continue to die.
