As we start to re-open the clinic we just wanted to inform everyone of some changes to our procedures: - Online booking remains disabled for now, all appointments can be made by contacting your therapist directly. - 24 hours prior to your appointment you will be emailed a Pre-Screening Survey. Please complete the survey and your therapist will contact you to review your results. IF IT IS NOT COMPLETED and your therapist is unable to contact you your appointment will be CANCEL...LED. - Our fees have temporarily increased to $125 plus GST for a 1 hour appointment to cover our additional operating costs. - We are temporarily not accepting new patients as we are operating on a reduced schedule with reduced hours. On the day of your appointment: - Please wait out front of the clinic until your therapist comes to unlock the door. - Please wear a mask, if you do not have one we can supply one for $2. - Please use the hand sanitizer at the front desk. - Your temperature will be taken with a non-contact thermometer and recorded. - You will fill out one final screening questionnaire and liability waiver. Clinic Update: At Island Wellspring Massage Therapy the safety of our patients and therapists are our top priority. At this time we do not have a set start date. We are working hard to secure proper personal protective equipment for therapists and patients, finalize new protocols and procedures and modify our clinic space.... Please keep in mind that when the clinic does re-open, things will be different but the quality of your care will remain the same. We take great responsibility in ensuring a safe environment for everyone and appreciate your patience as we work through this. Hey folks! As you may have heard, Registered Massage Therapy is included in the provinces phase 2 of returning to work. We are currently waiting for more information to come from our regulatory college before announcing a re-opening. They are currently working on a return to practice protocol which has to be approved by our Provincial Health Officer first before being released. We ask for your continued patience during this time. Rest assured we will be contacting everyone affected by the cancellations when we have a set date. Thank you!

**UPDATE: The clinic will remain CLOSED until further notice.** As directed by our College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia and our provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, the clinic will remain closed effective March 18 until further notice. We will be cancelling all April appointments.... At this time, there is no projected timeline for when non-urgent community services may resume. We have been informed by our college and health authorities that we are not an essential service and it is in the publics best interest that we suspend our practice until further notice. ...
