Bryan Baeumler joined forces with iSolar Solutions, to install twenty iSolar 19W-MOD solar attic fans on every other roof of his resort in the Bahamas. The fans have been a game-changer in reducing humidity, maintaining ideal comfort conditions, and keeping hotel temperature in sync with the outdoor temperature. The iSolar fans also helped circulate fresh air into the suites during the temporary closure of Caerula Mar during the pandemic! Another installation by our Florida based solar attic fan advocate Steve Alexander (Solar Smart Vent) on a two story ‘golf course’ home that already has a solar panel array for base load clean electricity use or redistribution back to the grid as applicable. This installation was in Forest Lake Estates in Apopka, Florida. Two iSolar 19W-MOD fans were installed in a manner that will not be in the path of stray golf balls being hooked or sliced. The solar panels were located separately and away from the prevailing golf ball path while the fans were installed into existing exhaust holes on the second story roof. Unfortunately, the existing solar array had received its share of golf ball projectiles over the years. (see picture 2). Hats off to this homeowner for combating climate change in this personal way!
