Stittsville’s Imagination Station Preschool is looking for an on-call Supply staff. This position does not require you to have your Early Childhood Education diploma. This is the perfect opportunity if you are unsure if you would like to join the daycare field, for someone who is already in school or someone looking for part-time hours. Qualification Requirements:... Up to date First Aid and CPR level C Recent police record check (no older than 6 months) TB test & Up to date immunizations Experience is an asset Other Requirements: A working phone (as most shifts will be texted or called in) Reliable transportation or knowledge of the bus routes to Stittsville Punctual and reliable (Its important to understand being on time and consistent) Must work well in a team Must like working with younger children from 6months - 4 years. Part-time hours: 0-20 per week Job Types: Part-time, Casual/On Call COVID-19 considerations: To keep all staff safe as possible during this time we limit the classrooms they are in as well as require both a face mask and goggles/shield to be worn. We are looking to welcome a new cook to our team for September ! Heres a what we are looking for .... As the Daycare cook you are responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen during your shift, organization of the kitchen, meal prep, meeting deadlines, preparing and delivering foods on a scheduled basis, keeping up with food preferences and allergies of children in each program. As well as completing food orders through suppliers on a bi-weekly basis. You will create and i...mplement recipes according to the menu, assist in creating the menu and following the CCEYA guidelines for food options each day. Other daily functions: Ensuring children are eating the foods being sent Documenting menu changes Organization of menu binder for Ministry of Education and tracking purposes Know, understand and follow all of Stittsville's Imagination Station Preschool's policies and procedures Report to supervisor Implement changes when needed Initiative on daily routine Prep all food and snacks for the day Responsible for ordering foods through our supplier Food cost per child Food portioning Labelling and dating foods being brought in from outside source (parents) Communication with parents to reassure your ability and knowledge of allergies and food preferences Reliability Strong team playing skills Dish washing Knowledge of all kitchen equipment to keep maintained and cleaned Criminal Record Check of the Vulnerable Sector Food handlers certificate Standard First Aid and CPR level C Valid Police Check with vulnerable sector (no older than 6 months) Any other certificates you may present to peak the interest of clients. With the description above, you are not limited to duties listed. To guide staff to properly and timely deliver foods to clients. Ensure all deadlines are being met. Typically you are cooking for 70 children. This positions start date will be September 1st 2020, with possibility of being earlier based on COVID restrictions. Stittsville Imagination Station Preschool Is looking for a supply staff who would be available full days, between the hours of 7:00-5:30. Currently looking for ...someone to fill two weeks of full-time work if not more. Full-time Starting March 5th-23rd, then on call hours from there. Most days are known in advanced, some days like sick days are asked the night before or day of. Requirements: A Valid Police Check with VS- No older than 6 months Standard First Aid & CPR Level C Immunizations & TB test **This position is open to any education level, No ECE is required** Please email [email protected]
