#Mindful of the health conditions of all our stakeholders, the Board of Directors decided to hold its Annual General Meeting for the fiscal year 20192020 electronically. This #exceptional approach allows the organization to not only comply with its legal obligations as a non-profit organization, but also contribute to keeping everyone safe, and most of all of sharing our great accomplishments of last year. Individual #packages were sent last week to all our 9 members’ presid...ents and executive directors. We want to thank them for their collaboration and continuous support, namely the Kativik Ilisarniliriniq, the Kativik Regional Government, the Makivik Corporation, the Qarjuit Youth Council, the Northern Village of Kuujjuaq, the Avataq Cultural Institute, the Centre de santé Inuulitsivik - Nunavik- Côte de la Baie d'Hudson, the Centre de Santé Tulattavik de l'Ungava and the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services. ANNOUNCEMENT It is with great sorrow that we are announcing a one-year delay for the construction of our new facility. Although we have already received some containers on our site, the construction will begin only in the spring of 2021. This is certainly a heartbreaking announcement for all our people struggling with substance use in the region. For you, we will intensify our efforts to minimize the impact of the construction delay caused by the pandemic and to offe...r our new services as soon as possible. We will keep the region up to date with the construction project as we go. Thank you everyone for your continuous support. Together we contribute to a region that nurtures recovery.
