My daughter and I got matching tattoos and this is what she wrote on her wall. Here they are!! Mom chose then sings my soul from How Great Thou Art, as it makes her think of nana. ... I chose She’s An Eagle When She Flies by Dolly Parton. I’m posting the lyrics to the song as well so for those who don’t know it can understand why this song makes me think of mom. She’s my eagle. Some of you may be thinking that my music notes & even the treble clef are backwards...you’re right. They are. But only to you. When I look in the mirror, while ever doubting my abilities, my strengths, myself, my notes are facing me correctly. Reminding me that I do my music FOR ME. I’m chasing MY dream!! It took me a while but I think I captured what was in my heart <3 ~~~~~ I got to see an old friend today....from waaaaay back in my School Resource Officer days. She had made a very special gift for me that made me cry tears of gratitude for her thoughtfulness. And even more, she didn’t want to leave Madesay out so made her one of her own. ...
