An extremely underrated way to improve overall digestion and experience less bloat is to properly chew your food. A TON of us, myself included, eat and swallow too fast, which leads to sub-optimal digestion, and overconsumption of food. One way to force yourself to slow down your eating process, and subsequently focus more on your food (which will lead to chewing more thoroughly), is to eat with your non-dominant hand. So if you’re right handed, hold yo...ur fork with your left hand, and if left-handed, hold your fork with your right. Studies show that this can actually help you consume less food overall, because it forces you to focus on the food and eat more mindfully. I’ve tried doing this a few times a week over the past little while and, it’s a mind warp at first , but does work. Especially at a restaurant, when you order a meal that turns out to be smaller than you expected. You’ll take longer to eat it, and feel as full as you can as a result. See more

I mean did I ever think I’d talk sex on morning television? Hard to say. But what IS the appropriate picture for such an occasion? Inside something that could resemble some sort of fun toy? Sure. When it comes to sex drive . . . Stress plays a huge factor, reducing stress is key (more on that in the stories later). Maca is an interesting plant - not right for everyone, but this root can increase some energy and vigor.... Watch plastic use and what you clean with (again), scents, etc. - chemical compounds in these products can cause truly negative hormonal consequences, resulting in sex drive issues. These four words can be a game changer, and they’ve been a favourite go-to for me this year. Whether you prefer saying to yourself It’s not about you (as I do sometimes, as if I’m talking to myself) , or It’s not about me - these words can shift the perspective in multiple ways. If someone was rude to you - it’s probably nothing to do with you, but what they’re going through in that given moment. If you’re nervous for a talk you have to give, it’s not about YO...U, it’s about the message you’re trying to deliver and the audience who will use it. If someone isn’t getting back to your email, don’t read into that wait time, they might just be overwhelmed and have too much on their plate to promptly respond. If you’re scared to release something you created, or waiting for it to be perfect (hint you’ll wait forever if that’s the case), make it about the person who could benefit from it - take yourself out of the equation. If you didn’t get the part (actors ), most of the time it really isn’t about you, there are so many things beyond your control that casting has to consider, not just performance. This phrase in no way discounts you or your value, it just shifts the focus and takes some of that self-imposed pressure off. See more
