Thar be mermaids! I decided to make two more mermaid dolls. Each one is always a bit different and they are my own designs. At first I wasn't sure about the hair because I was worried about a 'Medusa' look but I really like the wild look of it! It's time consuming, though. The purple doll is 15 inches long. The pink doll is 13 inches long.... Both are made with 100% acrylic yarn and stuffed with polyester quilt batting. They are $25 each - local pricing. Also completed is a mermaid tail scarf. I really love the colors in this variegated yarn! This is also my own design. It measures 36 inches long by 5 inches wide. Made with a silky, chenille feel acrylic yarn. $20 - local pricing.

More to come but these are some of my newest jewelry creations. I don't make much in gold tone but I couldn't resist these hoops, acorns, and fluted flowers. Stay tuned for my 'Valentine' post. I just need to edit a bunch of photos...

Thanks so much to Sheila, a repeat local customer, who purchased some earrings for her daughter last night. This is my first local sale of the year from my Deep Bay studio and it was all done contact free.

This kind of gig is not the easiest at the best of times so I really appreciate you all for helping to make it better. I will be unavailable tomorrow but my Deep Bay studio will open to appointments and contact free pickups on Thursday from noon until 4 pm for any last minute shoppers. I have a one person limit in my studio. Masks and fragrance free hand sanitizer are required. I have the latter if you don't have your own. My studio will then be closed to visitors until January 4th. I will be taking orders for contact free pickup only December 28 to 31st, noon to 4pm, and then resuming again on January 4th. The following were the top sellers in my Etsy store this year (3 or more of each sold). A few are sold out but I have just received, or will receive soon, more inventory.
