We’re thrilled to announce ISC’s new Co-Presidents for the 2021 - 2022 school year, Jash Kalyani and Fiona Chan!!! Below are two messages from them: From Jash Hi! I am Jash! In my journey as a business student, I aspire to be a Marketing and Sales enthusiast. Marketing and Sales combined help bring a business model to life and deliver it to the average consumer. Together, they can change how we perceive products and influence consumers to make more ecologically and ...socially sustainable choices. During HBA1, I coffee-chatted with Sales experts from established companies in the consumer, technology, and financial space. I realized that there is so much we students do not really know much about- especially when it comes to the joint business planning and strategic partnership aspect of sales. As Co-President of ISC, I hope to bring more sales knowledge and networking to campus. I am passionate about challenging the social+gender stereotypes in the sales world and projecting sales as a more inclusive space. Finally, I hope to build a community for all- a place where students can come together and explore their HBA journey while learning how to sell themselves and their experiences to the (cold?) corporate world out there! From Fiona Hi everyone! I’m Fiona and I am super excited to be working with my Co-President Jash in ISC’s second year! A little about me- I studied kinesiology before Ivey and joined the Western Dragon Boat Club as I love sports, athletics, and team competition. There, I found my second home in a tight-knit team, which I hope to foster within our Ivey Sales Club this year! I got interested in sales as I learned more about the CPG industry, as I truly believe there is an opportunity to create a positive environmental impact in the industry. While sales is a lesser-known career path at Ivey, it encompasses skills that people use in every realm of business. I hope that this year our club will offer some amazing resources in pitching skills, managing relations, and negotiations. We have some amazing events lined up, and I hope to see you there!
