The Bible has a lot to say about thankfulness, for example Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Studies have also shown that practicing thankfulness can bring greater happiness, strengthen relationships and help you deal... with adversity. Journaling is a good way to regain perspective in life especially when things are busy or hard. Try it: Leave you're phone and laptop get a paper journal and get away from the distractions. Reflect on life and notice what's going on. It can help us to see how God is at work in the day to day and after awhile you can look back through your entries and remember his faithfulness. Put Em together You can pair journaling with most of the tips we've given in this series so far. Prayer, reading the Bible, you can even make it part of your sleep routine. A great way to practice thankfulness is writing down a list of what your thankful for. Another even is better way is to actually go and thank someone who has helped you. Try writing them a note in your journal and then give it to them or send it to them.
