We had a very specific vision for the flooring in this bathroom - light colored travertine stone in a chevron pattern - and we could not find it anywhere! This week we spent a lot of time focusing on design concepts for a few furnishing projects we have coming up. Often times we find a piece, fall in love with it, and build the whole space around it! In this case, we fell in love with the warmth and brass details of this beautiful dresser. It was the perfect addition to an otherwise very neutral, soft space. Just a cute little corner of our clients guest room! This space was designed for sleepovers with nieces and nephews, so we kept styling to a minimum which means less things for the kiddos to touch/wreck!

We could all use a little greenery in our homes right now, and this cutie from our Lindenwood Drive project is adorable! We love the @westelm stand! The dresser was original to the owner and while we loved the lines of it the original colour did not work. So we had it custom painted and voila, our homeowner has a furniture piece that ties beautifully into the overall design of the space. Also, that original hardware is ! Happy Weekend everyone! Honestly, is anyone else feeling like the days are all just blurring together at this point? Going from working together everyday to only virtual contact has been a huge adjustment for us. Although we are getting into the swing of our new norm we sure do miss one another! We hope everyone is staying connected with their loved ones during this difficult time. Take care and hope you enjoy lots of quality, family time with the ones you are currently locked up with!

With all that is happening in the world, we are feeling particularly thankful that we have a job that allows us the flexibility to have our children home with us. Yes, it is going to be challenging to try to maintain our workload while teaching/entertaining our children, but we will do what we can do! Our thoughts are with all the small businesses out there that are being impacted by these terrible circumstances. We will all get through this, and in the meantime we will continue to support one another, and continue to share our project photos with the hope it will provide you some refuge from all that is going on!
