How are you leveraging technology to support you to get focused or stay on focus?... A couple of flow hacks I use to keep me focused. Turn off notifications on your computer. Pop ups have a wonderful way to move our focus and distract us from what's important. The task at hand. Schedule a couple times per day to check and respond to emails. Take back some time so you're not attached to your emails. You have the opportunity to take charge of your day and get focused. IYA. FOCUS. Stop the scrolling, and focus for a few moments to support your day. Do you feel like your mind has been wandering, and not on point, not focusing on what you really want to be working towards? There are so many incredible moments going on throughout the world right now, on top of the everyday distractions we create. I know for me it's been a little derailing to my best made plans.... Do you take the time each day to focus? To set intentions? To get really clear on what you want and what will push you out of your comfort zone? Focus is required when triggering flow. Intense focus on a specific opportunity you are looking to achieve. Focus is necessary to hack your flow game. How I support a shift in momentum: Active practice: Take a few deep breaths in and out. Let your mind rest and get clear. Crystal clear. Write down one thing that is on your mind that you want to accomplish and take immediate action for the next 5 min towards that goal. Follow Your Heart A friend wrote this poem for me a few years ago, it was during a lot of transition in my life and the words hit me again this week as life continues to forge on with it's twists and turns. I choose to follow my heart and be resilient knowing that growth will come from adversity. We chatted briefly this week and her voice, the conversation brought me back when I first read this poem.
