With little ones go on a listening walk. Listen out for and talk about the different sounds you can hear (leaves crunching, birds singing, dogs barking etc). For older kids go on a scavenger hunt. This is a great way to work on both attention and language development. This activity sheet is free from @superduperpub and targets concept development. Or you could make your own! Good attention and listening skills are prerequisites for developing good language and communication skills.
