Ummmm ok sooooo.... I think everyone deserves a living wage. I think everyone deserves paid sick days. I think everyone deserves the CHOICE to go back to work ONLY when they feel SAFE. I've had a lot of emotions over the past few weeks with the slow reopening of business in the province, with the cases spiking, the weather getting nicer... Everything is such a double edged sword that more often than not fills me with guilt and stress and bad thoughts. And all I know is that there are people out there that can help and they aren't. (ie. LANDLORDS.) I am deeply uncomfortable with the state of things. I know I'm not alone. These pins are $3 each and 100% of the proceeds are going to my local food bank. Hi everyone! As you may know, @krixendo and I have been toiling away making non-medical masks for the past month and a half for @mghfoundation, using graciously donated goods from our community! It's been going great! We've managed to donate over 300 masks and counting! I've received tons of messages asking if the masks are for sale, and honestly I just don't feel comfortable selling goods made from material that has been donated to us. They're also not really professionally ...made, as we are both pretty amateur seamstresses. BUT. IF you are in need of a mask, don't care how pretty it is, and want to help out those less fortunate than you, I will be listing (in an hour or so) a generic "mask" product on secretplanet.ca. Masks will be pwyc, minimum donation of $5 + shipping and all proceeds will be donated to the food bank efforts of @tnofoodcollaborative. They will be available for Curbside pickup as well! Throwback to simpler times! I had a small mental snap yesterday because the shop was in such disarray and everywhere I turned I felt like I bumped into a pile of empty cardboard boxes and garbage but I spent an hour or so cleaning up and I know that one day the shop will look like this again and you'll be able to come sit and read in my beloved zine nook once more! I miss you, I just bought a bunch of hand sanitizer, so hopefully I'll see you soon.

Being home every day is really making me appreciate the importance of my home base and everything it does for me and my mental state. It's so great to see my posters take on new life in different cozy spaces! It warms my heart to bring colour and space stuff to your homes! I'm so inspired by y'all (thanks, @arhoughton for the gorgeous snap! )
