What’s your favourite Christmas treat? You know, the ones that only come out at Christmas time! This is a new one for me but it was super easy to make with the boys and they had fun making snow balls or snow shapes. Can you find the two faces in the photo? Those are made by the oldest and one is me and one is Markus. Snowballs... 1 pk of chocolate chips 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 1/2 C Graham cracker crumbs 2 C shredded coconut (reserve 1/2 C) Melt chocolate chips in a double broiler or microwave and remove from heat when melted Add condensed milk, Graham cracker crumbs, and 1 1/2 C coconut and stir. Spoon out about a tablespoon and using hands roll into a ball Then roll ball into 1/2 cup of coconut to cover Store in fridge or freezer We had old stale Graham crackers so we used multigrain Cheerios instead. Turned out great although I don’t know the difference. Also, gotta let go of the fact that the boys don’t want to just make circles but other shapes too!

Remember those chip clusters I posted? I finally made them! If we could go to Christmas parties this year I would take these. Easy and delicious. Imagine putting a handful of chocolate chips in your mouth and then some crushed chips. Well it’s like that but it’s one solid bite. Yum! The real test will be if the hubby likes them. He usually doesn’t go for chips and chocolate but he just might with these. What I did because I didn’t have any sea smelt caramel chipits ... Recipe: 636 grams of semi-sweet chocolate chips 200 grams of ruffles potato chips crushed Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler. I use a medal bowl over a medium pit with water. When smooth and creamy mix in the potato chips and spoon into mini cupcake papers. Original Recipe: Recipe: 2 bags milk chocolate chipits 1 bag sea salt caramel chipits 1 200 gram bag of ruffles potato chips crushed as fine as possible Melt the 3 bags of chipits in a double boiler. When smooth and creamy mix in the potato chips and spoon into mini cupcake papers By the way I don’t think hubby and I can eat 39 (there was 40 - I had to taste test) chip clusters so if your local and would like a few and are comfortable with me sharing with you let me know. I mean we probably could eat them but that doesn’t mean we should!

Ever since I had mulligatawny soup at an ADC lunch I’ve wanted to make this soup. I had some chicken that needed to be cooked up last night and wondered what to do with it. I’ve also been getting farm boxes from the boys school and wanted to use up some of the produce. Somehow this soup came to mind and it turned out pretty good! Yum! Everyone liked it including the boys. Here is a link to the recipe: https://www.simplyrecipes.com/re/chicken_mulligatawny_soup/... I didn’t have any celery to add or cream so I used whole milk instead. Still was good. I’d definitely make this soup again. What soup have you been making these days?
