When you have to move yourself to a new section on the website- it can be a bit emotional. But it was actually exciting to think of the future for this group of amazing woman I get the privilege to work with, to help build their steps to their dream career. To see the character growth and personal challenges create these woman into some truly amazing stylists and go getters. And friends. Being able to see them grow is a gift. I am finding joy in this every day ! Lookin...g forward to when I am able to run some classes for the team! Truly very happy for this change in my life. It seems my branch has blossomed into a new direction at the salon. So with that comes a time to embrace CHANGE! That is a scary word sometimes- and a word we run away from and avoid or put aside. Or if you are like me - Just plain old stubborn ... Many of you have been with me for years and know my constant health journey and how it has fluctuated over time. It seems this time it has taken its toll on me and therefor it’s with a heavy heart I am choosing to end my time behind the chair for clients. I hate the continuous pattern of disappointing clients and it makes me feel even worse every time I have had to reschedule or have a colleague step in for my clients. Even though I know they are being extremely well taken care of, it is still hard knowing that I can not do my job to the best of my former ability. I have decided to move to a more mentor/support role and hoping I can be on site at the salon more consistently- but keep up with the paperwork and sales. And reception and hostess type responsibilities in a capacity I can physically handle. It’s been an emotional few weeks for me. But I’ve known it was coming for a long time. Sadly. I am just stubborn and fight to the bitter end ! I am so grateful and thankful for my experiences and career growth. As I move into this new role I will still see my clients! I will still dote on you and remember your dogs name and your grandkids birthday. Your daughters wedding coming up! Your color formula. It all stays in there! Please be assured that our lovely stylists will be suited for you and I can recommend which ones specifically. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me so I can help in this transition. I had written out a huge long post. But I guess sometimes less is best! So pretty much I only work 6-8 hours a week That is all I can handle at the moment As much as I would love nothing less to do everyone’s hair. ... It’s just not physically possible for me. Sista! Sista! Look out for these 2 blondies! Both got a huge change up from their regular go to hair do’s. K- we went from global bleach&tone to a more sophisticated dimensional rooted blonde as we transition out of that method! M- Her usual blending of the partline and side with a low maintenance base just got plain boring for her. After a full application of foil work and a mix of toning formulas (old color below the o/b) we pulled off an amazing just as sophistica...ted blonde for her too! Wow If I ran a poll on my fave. It would just end in a huge tie! So thankful for a wonderful challenge to start the new year!
