Edited for clarification, as a few artists kindly corrected my explanation! :) Some use Cyan, Magenta and Yellow (CMY) for a limited primary pallette instead of Red, Yellow and Blue. I have always considered a primary color to be one you can't mix using other colours. However you can mix red using magenta and yellow. You can also mix a darker blue using cyan and magenta. Furthermore, you can't mix magenta using the traditional primary colours. This is why a printer uses CMYK ...(K stands for black) to get the largest range of colour. This itself is simplified, as they are both different colour models (one based off pigment, the other light). Anyways, I've been wanting to try some slower-drying golden soft body paints, so I thought I'd start with the primary colours plus white and burnt umber. I really want to try painting human portraits, and it can be super challenging to do soft skin tones using my current paints. For pets, my paints work amazing cause they dry fast and I can do many layers. But for human portraits, it is a huge challenge!

Good morning! I have a quick update for you all. Starting Feb 1st, I am going to be doing monthly ornament restocks on the first day of each month! There will be a limited number, likely 5-10 (probably 15 max), so don't hesitate to grab them if you've been waiting! I have a few more people to contact from my wait list, so it you were on the list, I'll reach out very soon. Thanks for your support everyone! Have a good day! Here's the adorable Zorra and Paisley for today's ornament!

Seeking feedback! What do you think about SQUARE ornaments vs. round woodslice ornaments? These would not have a hole drilled in them, but they would have ribbon or something attached for hanging on the back. They are a bit smaller at 2inches squared, and 1/8th inch deep. On these 4, I'm planning on making a series of berries, when I am in between projects that is. (I'm finishing up a couple pet portraits first!)

Here's Boulder &Mika! Children are so funny. Here's a couple funny lines from the kids. Eve: "(Burps). Excuse me, I just have a little bit of reflux." (3 years old) Gunnar: I tell him it is time for bedtime. He says, "Uh Oh!". I buckle hum in his carseat, he says "Don't!". (1 years old).
