I'm not sure how to tell you this, but it's not been an easy last few years for @faceboss_jacquie. . . My mom's dementia is rough and so hard to bare sometimes. I miss how she was, but I know she's still in there. .... . Somedays I feel the pressure to reinvent myself to stay on top of everything but it is exhausting. I am overwhelmed just trying to keep my head above water. So I’m filling my cup. Letting go of fear. I choose love now. Quality over quantity. . .HRT has changed my life. I almost can’t describe the loss and confusion that comes with menopause. It literally stopped me in my tracks dead while I tried to help my 92-year-old mom transition into long-term care through a window during Covid. I found this watch of Mom’s tonight when I was going through some things. It was a gift given to her from her coworkers at Safeway. It’s engraved on the back March 1955. It still works and the crystal is in excellent shape still. . . I wore this silk scarf today when I went to see her. It is hers from decades ago.
