Good morning sunshine’s let’s chat headshots!! Almost everyone needs a headshot at some point or another, no matter what career they are in. And most people dread them When you think headshot what comes to mind ? Stuffy? Boring? Posed? Let’s throw all that out the window! Im all about bringing some fun vibes into your headshots and here’s a few way I do that:... keep it moving ! The way to get those those nerves out is movement. If you are moving you can’t focus on the camera and it often results in real, genuine smiles thinking outside the box. Gone are the days of cheesey Sears portraits ! Let’s find a funky space or use a prop in a way that’s original getting to know you. I aways send questionnaires to my clients before a session so I can understand what they do, what they are looking for and their vision for their session. It’s much easier to deliver exactly what you want if there’s lots of communication before hand Any questions for me? Thoughts on headshots in general? Lemme know below !

I paired up with some very talented ladies this week to make this vision come to life! Time to celebrate SPRING ! We had quite the adventure making these! There was a near golf ball to the head plus trespassing to use a cherry tree in someone's front yard while our ladder got stuck. Luckily the gentleman that lived in the house was super nice and even helped us with our ladder! We are not role models kids, I repeat WE ARE NOT ROLE MODELS. Dream team:... I had the pleasure of snapping some pics of my beautiful friends (and their bump!) a few weeks back. Was nice to see some friends for the first time in months and obviously a pleasure to document this time in their lives - so exciting! I will not overshare these, I will not overshare these....:)

I had the pleasure of traveling to Saltspring this summer to photograph Christine & Steve's wedding. Their plans changed a few times due to the pandemic but I'm so happy they decided to go ahead with their celebration. It was just the perfect day with their closest family and friends witnessing them getting married in their (gorgeous) yard. Here are a few photos from their special day

Yup, it's been a minute. HEY ! I'm still here and alive, kind of hahah. September is always the busiest month for me so I have not been sharing. Good news is there's lots to catch up on! To start this amazing family...makes me miss those warm summer nights already. How is everyone feeling about fall?

To say last weekends wedding was amazing doesn't even give it justice. There were laughs, tears and everything in between. Emily + Kyle - your love story is gold.
