I am very happy with this. I don’t think I’ve ever burned a whole piece so dark - usually I have a very light approach to pyrography (a necessary thing for shading in portraits on thin wooden panels!). Something about the grain of the wood and the dark lines...so nice! I’m thinking about painting in some colours when I have more time.
