Hello Grande Cache, Last year we didn’t run a Christmas festival because the team of people who were running it were in desperate need of a break. This year in... December with a new organization and a new crew, we will return to the Tourism Centre Park to host a holiday festival. If the province returns to a lockdown state we will still light up the area and it will be available as a drive-by event. In the coming weeks I will put out a new Facebook post and introduce you to the Board of Directors for the Grande Cache Community Events Foundation but for now I would like to begin requesting donations of Christmas lights or extension cords that you no longer need or that have been replaced. Broken cords and lights are fine, we can try to repair them at very least. Donations can be dropped off at My Computer Tech at 1800b Pine Plaza or we can come pick them up. Just send the page a message. Financial donations are also needed and more information can be requested via a message. Our event will be run as a not for profit society (with registered status pending due to covid-19 delays with the Alberta government). Donations made at the event will be used to fund other events such as the yearly Missoula Children's Theatre cost for Grande Theatre Players. We will run events that can be counted on to run annually and focus on sustainability of events for the long term instead of going by the event of the week format previous groups have focused on. We want to build this for the future generations of people in our community, recover the sense of community that our beloved home had before and bring back community events people can get excited about and count on to run. Thank you so much for your support, Jake, Christine, Sheldon, Corinne and Roxanna Board of Directors, Grande Cache Community Events Foundation

Good morning everyone. I promised something different this week and I'm here to deliver. A infrared photo of Grande Cache lake. New camera system for me and it was surprisingly easy to adapt to. Sony's A7R II with canon's 24-105mm f/4. #infraredphotography #IR #infrared #landscape #landscapephotography #Grandecache #mdgreenview #Nature #naturephotography #canon #sony #canada #alberta #lifepixel

Here are the photos from the Zombie game, Thanks to Silvercreek Paintball for having me out and I hope to return to take some more photos in the new year. Well played to everyone in attendance and sorry if you didn't make it into a photo. Being new to the field it took me a while to get used to play locations and where to be when, it's also hard with a sport as dynamic as paintball with large numbers of people in completely different locations. Please feel free to tag your friends and use these photos as profile pictures if want to.

Here are the game photos from the ring of steel event. Well played to everyone who attended and sorry if you didn't make it in to a pic, I tried to get a diverse coverage but when an event has a large number of people moving around at high speeds it can get hard, especially with the trees. Thanks again to Xcalibre Paintball for having me out and I hope to return in the near future. Please feel free to tag your friends or use these photos for profile pictures if you want.
