Hi everyone, We will be closed today, Wednesday Oct 7. We haven't been able to consistently open during our regular business hours, due to having a shortage of staff at Fountain Restaurant. Usually this happens on short notice and we aren't able to give prior notice to our customers that we will be closed. Hi everyone, If all goes as planned, we will be opening today Friday, September 4 from 11:00am - 9:00pm. We didn't want to post another update until we more certain this was going to be possible. Follow up on our last post: Unfortunately, there will be a delay in our re-opening. One of our new chefs arrival has been delayed for Fountain Restaurant to replace us on our return back to James Bay Fish and Chips. We hope to at least open by the next month. Have a great long weekend everyone! :)

Hi everyone! We are happy to announce that we will be re-opening James Bay Fish and Chips this coming Saturday, August 1st from 12:00pm-2:30pm and 4:30pm- 9:00pm. Hi everyone, It's been a little over a month since we opened up our second location on June 15. We have been receiving many comments about our return back to James Bay. Unfortunately, it is still unknown when we will be stable enough at Fountain, that our existing staff from James Bay can return. Opening up a location that is a lot bigger has proven difficult for us. It will not be as easy to provide all of you the great service and food that we once had. The previous employe...es/owners of James Bay are currently working at Fountain as well as an addition of new staff members. Our food recipes may be different since there is a rotation of chefs from 11:00am to 2:30pm and 4:30pm to 1:00am. We apologize that the food/ service isn't as consistent as James Bay. We are hoping to go back to James Bay as much as you all want us to! We are all overworked at Fountain, and we feel bad for our amazing and loyal clientele at James Bay.
