Why no Phase 2 with Modified Games Yet? Here is the problem. The Ontario government Emergency Order wording bans "games" and "scrimmages". The OLBA believes that what the government intends is that there is no physical contact and social distancing must be observed. However, that is not what the emergency order says on paper. Consequently, we have to get both a legal opinion and an official clarification from the Ontario government. Essentially, we want them to treat us the s...ame way that they treat tennis. That is why we have a delay. Until the OLBA gets official permission for modified games with social distancing, then any club that plays games could potentially be fined and/or shut down. The OLBA shares your irritation. Thanks Ralph Ellis
