It's been a year now since Jim left us, and we miss him, unspeakably, every day. How fortunate we are to have so many of his paintings around--it's like he's left us with tangible pieces of his thought and perceptions, which continue to touch us with his physical presence. This is the true, and lasting, gift of art. <3
