The day the music died. Well, actually live music. Actually, it didn't die but was placed in an induced coma. March 14, 2020 was the last in-person concert at t...he Rickshaw - Sunday Morning's album release show with Hunting and Wrecked Beach. I remember that night distinctly. I remember being in complete disbelief that that show was going to be our last one for at least a couple of weeks. Oh how naive we were. But it soon became apparent that we were in this for a little bit longer as we scrambled to reschedule our postponed spring shows into late summer and fall. Ha! By summer, we knew we were truly hooped and there was no knowing when we were going to be back. We still don't know when we will be back to a packed Rickshaw again. But at least now I can see some hope in sight. I think by this summer we will be able to have limited capacity shows and hopefully by fall or winter we will be back at our social animal best by being un-socially un-distant. One thing won't change however, I will still be evasive about set-times.

One of the last DTP pics taken of Devin Townsend, Brian 'Beav' Waddell and I together on the very last tour we did together in December 2017 with Clutch. I’m v...ery grateful for all my years playing with Devin Townsend Band and Devin Townsend Project. Both were great bands. I became a professional drummer with the opportunity to play with both projects. Massive thanks to Dev for choosing me to play in DTB/DTP. He can pretty much choose any drummer he wants to play with him but he chose me to handle drumming duties in both bands and I couldn’t be more thankful for it. I had so much fun, met so many great people and utilized the opportunity to the max in several ways to build and sustain a career in the music industry. Not only that, I met Brian Waddell and we now have Imonolith to carry on with. Grateful Wishing Devin nothing but the best with his upcoming endeavours and his life in general. One of the most talented, funny and warm hearted dudes I know.
