Due to a minor knee surgery that will be happening feb 3rd i have opened up my week prior a bit including friday to accomodate the week i will be missing out. Hi everyone, there has been abit of confusion when it comes to your local Massage Therapists..are they open or not? WE ARE OPEN!!! So we have bee...n given the go ahead to continue practicing with a few hoops to jump through on both the therapists and clients end.On your end there is a referral or doctors note that is needed to continue your treatments. You can ask your local doctor or registered health professional for these notes.I have seen notes from doctors, physiotherapists and chiropractors so far and no issues have been mentioned on receiving these letters. You may already have a letter due to your benefits which still works but know it has to be within the past 12 months. Lets get 2021 started off with a great healthcare team keeping you at your best!!! There are several amazing Massage therapists in your community that have strived to make sure our services are able to be rendered so please dont be discouraged by this letter its just a small hoop. As of January 1 there will be 5% GST charged on all services, which in turn makes me want to send a huge thank you out to all of my wonderful and faithful clients for all these years of support. The stipulations for me to be able to work is ALL clients must have either a written prescription from a Medical Doctor, or a written referral from a regulated health professional.(Chiro,dentist,nurse,physiotherapist,midwife,etc) If you have already showed me one from 2019 work it is still good but will need to be renewed if 12 months is up. I ask you all, when you are booking online please in the reason for apt part to write NOTE COMPLETE and if you can upload the note to your file that would be great if not please send me a picture. Well its winter time!!! Here is where my preaching begins! If you are a senior please please dont be afraid to ask a young one to shovel for you, especially if you are a snowbird stuck here as your heart isnt equipped for this white stuff anymore. Please if you have a healthy nabor ask and if you are that healthy nabor please do a good deed for those seniors around you!!!! Theres lots of young kids out there that need the exercise!!!!
