Like, a natural confidence booster. And we all have the power to do it! In our industry we have the tendency to minimize ourselves and say I just do hair, or I’m JUST a hairdresser. If we want to change this narrative and change the perception of how people see the beauty industry,... WE need to change our own perception and how we talk about ourselves. So, I've decided to take the I AM idea spread the word more often. Today, I’m a hairdresser. Tomorrow, I'm an inspiration. And everyday, I'm a queen! Say it with me: I AM A HAIRDRESSER

If this year was an episode of who wants to be a millionaire, this is the time you’d use a lifeline and phone a friend. Over night, I went from being always on the go, between airports, going to a @soulcycle in every city, never being home and always being surrounded by all my favourite humans, (who btw, I am missing terribly right now! ) to working from home full time. Despite being introverted, all this time solo at home has certainly been a challenge. I mean I have my cats, but who wants to admit they're a cat lady. Connecting with friends and the people I love has definitely been a saviour, so this is your reminder that a. we’ll get through this together, b. Do not cut or colour your hair yourself and c. PHONE (or FaceTime) A FRIEND INSTEAD!

Anyone else have a hard time getting back to work after a long weekend? OMG especially when there's a short week ahead. I swear, it's as if the whole week is a full moon or something. It's so easy to fall into the POWER THROUGH thought process on a short week. But I'm here to tell you to relax ... Just pause. There's only so much you can do in 4 days, and this week is no exception my loves
