Still learning how to use @procreate in a style that closely resembles a hand painted work. As always, #pinodaeni is most inspiring!

I’ve been spending more time working in my Procreate app due to an unfortunate incident involving my ankle not being able to navigate steps.... So since I’m currently unable to walk I have decided to focus on developing my skills in Procreate to create a work that looks hand painted rather than iPad painted. Much of my time on this one consisted of experimenting with the brushes and creating my own brushes to mimic a specific type of brushstroke. This work is inspired by my favorite artist Pino Daeni. Teaching this class tonight.

So I know it’s been forever since I’ve put a video on my channel but this lady has been taking up all my time & she’s completely in my way for anything else I want to film!! Don’t look too closely at her because she still needs much more work done on her, especially her face & the hands are only just blocked in. I’ve been filming the entire thing & when I’m done, the time-lapse will be available on my channel & the real time/real thoughts as I paint & teach version will be available to watch for a small $5 fee, with no time limit to watch & no limits on how often you view it.
