With much sadness... Due to recent restrictions related to COVID-19 in combination with on-going knee surgeries and recovery limitations, WE ARE CLOSED indefinitely. Thank you all for your patronage, it has been a pleasure.

Despite all the dogs' best efforts, the mosquito population is still incredibly high. That doesn't stop Tammy's diligent attempts!

PLEASE SHARE IF YOU CAN’T ADOPT AND HELP THEM FIND THEIR FOREVER HOME! AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION-Baron #3653 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Male 2 years 12.5lb I ...know I’m cute this read might be RUFF Hey everyone I’m Baron! Two years in a puppy mill, but that's all behind me now and I'm ready to embrace my new life - in a regular home, with a loving and caring family! I'm still working on being more confident and secure, but I'm trying hard to get there! I'm a young two-year old, so I've got a long bright future ahead of me. Lots of new things to learn still, but so far I have mastered going up and down stairs, and snuggling - definitely snuggling! I've got this going potty outside down pat! I can get easily distracted by exciting new things, but with patience and understanding I'm sure I can conquer them all! My foster Mom can explain some of the things I still have to adjust to below - but if you're a patient, loving family, I can't wait to meet you...! And now, a few words from my foster parents: Baron has specific needs when it comes to feeding him. Currently in his foster home he is fed cup twice a day alone in the kitchen where he has a ritual of playing and hiding the kibble, that he goes through. This process takes approx 15 mins for him to finish his meal. He can’t have another dog trying to get to the food while he takes his time finishing his meal. It appears that Baron has been beaten while he ate so up till now eating was not a pleasant experience. If Baron is put in a new environment he will not eat and has to be coaxed with giving him liver snacks and the adding kibble slowly. We feel Baron would do best in a home that is not real busy and has a routine so he can become even more confident and secure. His forever family would have to be agile and know they would have to commit to giving him the space, time and understanding to rewire this thinking that meal time is a good time.
