I am a use everything you got kinda girl Nothing bothers me more than spending money on things I can’t use up and have to throw away! It’s irrelevant if you have money or not to afford to do it. ... It’s irrelevant if you have the time to keep running to the store or not. Wasting your food, money or time is something you do not need to do. Coaching is an amazing tool! I just had my last golf lesson and I am already missing my coach. It’s easy to understand why we would use a coach to improve our golf or sports game but why use a coach to build life skills and strategies. My coach helped to create focus and confidence.... He helped build strategies that make the game less physically demanding on my body so they game is enjoyable. He helped me recognize the signs that show up when I am out of alignment creating a trajectory I don’t want. He also gave me tools to use outside of our sessions that help keep me on track to build a stronger game. He keeps me accountable to my goal and he believes I am capable and holds me to that standard. These are so many of the tools that coaches can provide in your daily life. Today is Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness We are decked out in our purple to help reduce the stigma and raise awareness. Did you know 1% of Canadians have epilepsy. Seizures can happen to anyone at any time so it is important to learn how to keep everyone safe. Seizures can be unsettling to witness, leaving you with a feeling of fear, shock and helplessness so don’t forget to take care of yourself in this situation as well. ... Motivation Mindset Ever hear yourself say I don’t feel motivated or if I was just more motivated I could... Motivation is a tricky word. It makes you feel as though if you have it things would be easier. The truth is motivation doesn’t always come first!... The reason we may not feel motivated can be for many reasons but usually the action we want to take doesn’t truly have deep meaning. It doesn’t create the feelings you want. We know we should be active; eat healthy; practice self-care, etc. But if what you are doing creates a feeling you want such as relaxation, calm or comfort the chances of you changing your habits gets incredibly difficult. Creating a meaning or feeling around the change you want will help motivate you to take new action. Walking my dogs doesn’t necessarily motivate me. They pull and hurt my neck. Mia acts like a lunatic every time we see another dog. I am tired and I have other things I want to do like watch tv and eat popcorn lol. I also have to create a better meaning for this activity. It means when I sit down and want to rest they may be more tired. I can dedicate my energy towards other things I want to accomplish. My self-care for my health is a necessity not an option (huge motivator for some). Review what meaning you are creating around your actions and you may have the ability to reframe those thoughts. Monday is for observing where your mind is at? We all have moments of uncertainty, anxiety, overwhelm and we want to force things to be different or better. What do we do when we can’t force things to be different, for any number of reasons? ... Creating a change always starts with where we are today. We need to be mindful and aware of what we are feeling when it happens. Start today with just one thing. Bring awareness to your thoughts and feelings. Take a moment when emotions overwhelm you, breathe and observe! Don’t minimize or worry about what it means. That is a tip for another day Much love this Monday

Struggling??!! You are not alone!! This morning I cracked an egg into the garbage. My mind seems to be in 100 different places at once. Finding the courage to face each day with an open heart and mind can feel overwhelming!! Allowing ourselves to not feel forced, perfect or all together for everyone else. It is okay to be a little messy at times and not fear the judgement of others. You are learning and growing in complete perfection! That is enough! ... You are enough!! You are loved!!
