Graphic design is just a part of my work. And here are the reasons why you should hire a brand strategist to brand your business instead of a designer. There is no reason to have an amazing design if there is no strategy. It is just a piece of art. It's not brand design.

Do you like dating yourself? I was on a date with myself today, wandering around the city and attending an orchestra concert all by myself (bonus: last-minute student ticket!) Weird, huh?... As an entrepreneur, you might always work damn hard like me, worrying about the numbers, the clients, and chasing the deadlines. You might get tons of things to manage. Sometimes you might feel that everything seems to be going against you. At one point, you might feel lost and exhausted. The loneliness of entrepreneurship can kill you. My role of being a brand strategist allows me to work with tons of entrepreneurs because I help them to build their brands. I have seen many entrepreneurs could not deal with the pressure and the solitude. As their brand strategist who has counselling training background, I always encourage them to date themselves or have some spending quality time alone. It’s easy, effective and efficient. I usually feel refreshed and energetic after the me-time. I wanna share my way to do this mini-retreat. I usually don't have any itinerary. I just dress up and do whatever I want to do. Just name a few crazy things I have done in my solo date: buying an air ticket flying to Gold Coast, pampering myself with a romantic dinner and reading 5 novels in a day Going out with yourself is super comfortable coz you just concentrate on yourself. Imagine this - You have an excellent idea, and you decided to promote your idea in your own way. You think it should be easy to promote your brand and your concept because branding is easy. I have met many entrepreneurs who tried to build their brands by themselves because they have a misbelief that a brand is just a logo or a business name. I always meet entrepreneurs who use Canva to create their logos, spend a few bucks to hire a random designer from Fivver, or worst...; they just use some logos they found online ( beware of the copyright issues) and build their non-responsive website with Wix. Sounds familiar? Are you one of these i-can-handle-everything entrepreneurs? I am not saying these tools are bad, but it is hard to create an authentic brand identity without proper marketing research with these tools. (I love these tools too!) Although you may have a $1 billion worth of idea, the way how you present your idea could either draw or scare away potential investors and buyers. I remember when I was a kid, I always felt excited about the first day of school. I was not the brightest student at school. I didn’t pass the public exams with flying colours. But I never stop learning and questioning the status quo. And now, I decided to go back to school studying Marketing at one of my favourite schools. Although I was told I don’t need a master’s degree to be successful or wealthy, I still wanna do that coz I thirst for knowledge, new learning environ...ment and opportunities. It’s no harm to get a second degree, right? I am so fortunate to have this opportunity, and I know it will expand my knowledge in marketing, and help my clients (and you!) to win their (your) competitions. P.S.1. So now I need to start studying LOL P.S.2. I am rewriting @poseekinc ’s website. After running the business for three months, I now understand more about the potential clients and the market reactions, so I decided to modify our business model and reposition our company. P.S.3. Something excited is going to happen. We are bringing a new brand @infusteaclub alive in a month.
