One of our contributors for our upcoming Issue has pointed out that how we define Nikkei identity has most likely shifted and changed in the wake of the rise in disturbing and very violent incidents happening against Asians, and people of Asian descent both at home and abroad. We welcome submissions that address issues of anti-Asian racism and look forward to reading your critical and creative responses to our current socio-political climate in the hope of producing a counter-discourse to raise awareness and to one day abolish anti-Asian sentiments.
