The face I make when I see thought leadership content that ACTUALLY teaches me something. Drop a emoji in the comments if you're tired of reading blog posts, ebooks and 'freebies' that are really just thinly-veiled sales pitches. You see, the goal of thought leadership content isn’t to get people to buy your product or service. But just because it isn’t sales-y doesn’t mean it can’t drive sales.... Sound like an oxymoron? It’s not. The goal of thought leadership content is to get people to see you as an expert. Where does the 'driving sales' part come in? Well, I don’t know about you, but I would MUCH rather work with and buy from a credible professional who knows what they’re doing than someone who’s pushy and looking to make a quick buck. Now don't get me wrong, you can absolutely share your offer in your content. But you should always give to your audience first before you ask them to open up their wallets. P.S. If you want more tips on how to build your brand with thought leadership content, read my latest blog post. https://jasminewilliams.ca//01/15/thought-leadership-cont/

Let's chat a little bit about authenticity, shall we? Because while we all know how important it is, can we also take a moment to acknowledge that it's also scary AF? Especially online. It's so much easier to throw up some professional photos, generic quotes and boilerplate captions than to show up as the real deal. And yes, I'm also speaking to myself here!... I used to write and rewrite captions over and over again, asking myself: "Is this too weird?" "Too edgy?" "Too sales-y?" "Too woo-woo?" And the biggest question of all: "Will people judge me?" While I haven't completely slain the self-doubt dragon, I have come to see how powerful it can be to be yourself. Sure, not everybody will "get you", but you don't need everybody. You just need the right people. Are YOU ready to attract the right people? The right opportunities? The right clients? Then shoot me a message and let's chat.
